26 March 1986, ASOSIASI PERUSAHAAN JASA PENGIRIMAN EKSPRES INDONESIA (ASPERINDO) was established as the organization for all those private courier service companies in Indonesia. ASPERINDO is the only organization which recognized by the Government behalf as the General Director Post and Telecommunication, Department of of Republic Indonesia and KADIN (Room of Trade and Industry). Currently amount of ASPERINDO members are 500 which hold Courier Service Business Permit (SIPJT) with 2000 branches all over Indonesia, which employ 36.000 employees.

PT (Persero) Asuransi Ekspor Indonesia (Asuransi ASEI) is a State-Owned Company which provides Insurance and Guarantee, with its core products are Surety Bond and General Insurance. Surety Bond is guarantee for Obligee (Bea Cukai, Angkasa Pura, and Freight Forwarding) for Principal work performance (ASPERINDO members) in fulfilling obligations. Suretyship Guarantee that provides by Asuransi ASEI are; Payment Bond and Custom Bond. ASURANSI UMUM provides Shipping Insurance and Property / Asset Insurance of ASPERINDO members.

For additional point, 5 November 2008 in Head Office PT (Persero) Asuransi Ekspor Indonesia, Menara KADIN Building 22nd Floor, Kuningan, Jakarta, sealed the COSIGNMENT between Asuransi ASEI with ASPERINDO. Mr. M. Kadrial, Head of ASPERINDO represents ASPERINDO and Asuransi ASEI represented by Mr. Zaafril Razief Amir – President Director.

Surety Bond which established by Asuransi ASEI substitute Cash Collateral as Obligee qualifications, in order to increase money resources of ASPERINDO members for in order to expand their businesses.
