Born in Jakarta, Widyo Primastowo achieved his Bachelor of Business Management degree from Pelita Harapan University in 2009. He started his career in the insurance industry in 2009 by joining as the Management Trainee at Adira Insurance. He previously served as the Technical Excellence & Reinsurance Manager at AXA Mandiri, Head of Underwriting, Treaty, and Retrocession at Nusantara Re, and currently still actively serves as Client Management & Treaty Division Head at IndonesiaRe. He also has the certifications in Islamic Insurance Society (IIS), ANZIFF (Assoc) CIP, Qualified Chief Risk Officer (QCRO), and Adjunct Expert for Indonesian Insurance Losses (AAAIK). Currently he serves as the Commissioner of PT Asuransi Asei Indonesia.
